The article on "The Trouble with Enterprise Software" by Cynthia Rettig, published in Sloan Management Review, addresses the challenges involved in building enterprise software (which are complex software applications trying to integrate multiple business functions). In the article she discusses SOA as the main platform thought to bring a solution to some of the current challenges with enterprise software, and also suggests some challenges with SOA application in this area.

Hi All,

The presentation on Web Services is accessible through:
http://filebox.vt.edu/users/imostafa/Web%20Services%20using%20MS%20VS%20.Net.ppt

This version is an extended version of the one we gave in our demo on Feb 21st. It contains an introduction on Web Services and an illustrated demonstration on creating Web Services using Microsoft .Net framework.

The UDDI website that we used in our demo can be accessed through:

We welcome any of your comments or questions.

Thank you all for attending our presentation!
